We are seeking a proactive and reliable Site Assistant to join our Estates team and support the smooth day-to-day operation of our school site. This is an exciting opportunity to join the school at a time of significant growth and investment. The role has been created to strengthen our term-time Estates team as Trinity continues its transition to full co-education, alongside the opening of our new dining and events space in 2026 and the ongoing delivery of our masterplan.

Working as part of a dedicated Estates team, you will assist with the maintenance, security, health and safety, and general upkeep of the school, helping to provide a clean, safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, visitors and the wider school community. You will also support the operation of our new and existing facilities and respond flexibly to the operational needs of the school.

This is a term-time only position, plus an additional two weeks worked during the school holidays to support essential maintenance and operational activities. If you are practical, hardworking and enjoy working as part of a team, we would be delighted to hear from you.

We are a diverse community at Trinity and strongly encourage applications from teaching and operational staff from a range of backgrounds. To enable us to make any reasonable adjustments, please let us know when you submit your application whether you have any special requirements.

Trinity is one of two schools governed by the Whitgift Foundation, founded in 1596 by the then Archbishop of Canterbury, John Whitgift.

Trinity’s academic results regularly place it among the top schools in the country.

In 2022 Trinity was ranked 23rd in the Parent Power list of Top 100 Independent Schools in the UK and 13th in London, making it the top-ranked independent school in Croydon.

Beyond academic results, we celebrate intellectual curiosity and foster a culture in which pupils feel inspired to take a genuine interest in the world around them.

Exceptional staff is fundamental to our mission and we look forward to welcoming outstanding candidates to join our team.

Trinity School reserves the right to interview and appoint before the published closing date. Trinity strongly encourages applications from ethnic minority candidates. 42% of our students are from ethnic minority backgrounds and we want to have a staff body that reflects the diversity of the school and our local area.

Trinity School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All applicants will be required to comply with all safeguarding procedures including an Enhanced DBS check.

At Trinity our focus is on leading through values; on the kind of young people that our students become through being at Trinity, with day-to-day school experiences and a love of learning shaping them before they move on to extraordinary futures.
